Factory clarity.
Restored at your door.
Foggy, yellowed headlights cut your visibility at night. We restore them to factory clarity, seal the work with a UV ceramic coating, and back it with a 2-year written warranty — at your home or workplace.

It's nighttime safety.
UV breaks the lens down over years
Polycarbonate lenses oxidize under constant sun exposure. The factory UV layer wears off, the plastic clouds, and light scatters instead of projecting forward.
You lose real light output
Hazed lenses can cut effective beam output dramatically. You don't notice the gradual loss — until you're driving an unlit road at night and realize you can't see far enough to react.
Restoration beats replacement
A pair of OEM housings can run hundreds to thousands of dollars plus labor. Restoration brings the same lenses back to factory clarity for a fraction of that cost.
A six-phase clinical process.
Every restoration follows the same sequence — no shortcuts, no skipped phases.
Inspection & Expectations
Every job starts with a walkaround. We confirm lens condition, identify any cracks or delamination, and set realistic expectations before any tools come out.
Preparation
Surrounding paint, trim, and clear coat are fully masked off with automotive-grade tape so nothing but the lens itself is touched.
Deep Clean
Decontamination removes road film, bug residue, wax, and old failed coatings — we sand fresh plastic, not contamination.
Multi-Stage Wet Sanding
The core of the restoration. Six grit stages, wet-sanded by hand, each one cutting the previous scratches finer until the lens is optically flat. Starting grit is set by what the lens actually needs.
High-Gloss Machine Polishing
Dual-action polishing with a graduated cut-to-finish compound brings the plastic back to optical clarity — the foundation for the ceramic coat.
UV Ceramic Coating
A nano-ceramic UV coating bonds permanently to the lens surface and cures into a hard, hydrophobic barrier. This seals the freshly polished lens against the sunlight that caused the damage in the first place.
Not a polish.
A sealed restoration.
UV Ceramic Coating
- Blocks the UV that causes oxidation in the first place
- Hydrophobic — shed water, road grime, and bug splatter
- Keeps the lens optically clear for years, not weeks
2-Year Written Warranty
- Documented at completion, not promised verbally
- Transferable to the next owner if you sell the vehicle
- Covered yellowing or hazing → we come back at no charge
Straightforward. No surprises.
One service. One process. Quoted from a photo.
Vehicle make & OEM status
Different lenses use different plastics and coatings — some require more time than others.
Oxidation severity
Light hazing requires fewer cut stages than a fully clouded, yellowed lens.
Headlight size & access
Larger or harder-to-mask lenses add prep time to the job.
Location (ZIP code)
Local Santa Ana / Orange County jobs are flat. Satellite areas vary slightly.
Send each headlight, plus year/make/model and ZIP code. Natural light works best.
Usually back the same day. No obligation.

Two years. In writing.
What's covered
- Re-oxidation
- Ceramic coat failure
- Free re-coat within service area
- Transferable coverage with vehicle sale
What's not covered
- Physical or chemical damage
- Accidents or neglect
- Tampering or third-party products
- Pre-existing cracks or delamination
Coverage applies to the vehicle for two years (24 months) from the date of service and remains with the vehicle if it is sold — it transfers to a subsequent owner for the remainder of the period with proof of original service. The service area for warranty visits is the same standard Orange County area; satellite-area warranty visits may be subject to a small travel fee. We reserve the right to inspect the lens before coverage decisions and to decline coverage where damage falls outside normal use. Damage from accidents, abrasive cleaning, fuel/solvent spills, or pre-existing lens cracks and delamination is excluded. This warranty is offered to build long-term trust with our customers and is not a guarantee against accidental damage, neglect, or external factors beyond our control. Full written terms are provided at the time of service.
Built by someone who
actually drives at night.

Sean is a Santa Ana local. He spent years watching neighbors and friends pay for headlight "restorations" that lasted a few months — quick polishes with no protection, cheap kits from the auto parts store, the same yellow lens cloudy again by the next summer. Something as simple as clear headlights makes a real difference in road safety.
Most "headlight restoration" you'll find is a 20-minute buff job that looks great in the parking lot and re-oxidizes within months. That isn't restoration. That's cosmetics. Every Luna Luster job runs the full six-phase process — up to six grit stages of wet sanding, machine polishing to optical clarity, and a UV ceramic coat that bonds permanently to the lens. Every job runs the same procedure — whether it's a 2007 Corolla or a 2024 Tesla. No shortcuts just because the customer isn't watching.
"Headlight restoration is about nighttime safety. Everything else is a side effect."
